Mike Poiré proudly uses a black (or red) portable Baby Grand Piano cabinet provided by DUTCHGRAND. The distinctive sound comes from FOHHN Linea Live Systems. Mobile Linea Live Active PA systems combine first-class sound with an elegant design and defined dispersion characteristics.With a line array function, linear design and robust aluminium housing, the Tops are perfect for mobile sound and voice applications in all kind of situations. Linea Live systems guarantee outstanding speech intelligibility and a balanced, homogenous sound, even at venues with a demanding acoustic architecture and long reverberation times. The right mixing solution is provided by DYNACORD engineering excellence. Mike Poiré plays high-end KORG KRONOS Music Workstations, KORG Vintage Stage Pianos, KETRON Arranger Keyboards and different instruments from YAMAHA, ROLAND, KURZWEIL, HAMMOND, WALDORF, NOVATION, PIONEER AND ABLETON. Mike uses premium condensator microphones from SHURE, NEUMANN & RØDE. A compact and discret light system is provided by CAMEO.

Noémie François
SINGER/DANCER/COMEDIAN
Born in Luxembourg, Noémie François studied singing, dance and theater at the Institut Supérieur des Arts de la Scènes with Rick Odums in Paris. In 2008, she received a scholarship for the Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival in the United States and worked with great Broadway choreographers and directors such as Chet Walker, Mercedes Ellington and Bill Hastings. Thanks to this experience, Noémie participates in "Aimé et la planète des signes" (Jean-Marie Leau), "Place de l'Opera" (René de Obaldia), "Les petites marionettes" (Guy Shelley) and joins the troupe From "Mamma Mia!" at the Théâtre Mogador in Paris and on tour throughout France. She also joined the musical "Le voyage extraordinaire de Jules Verne" at the Théâtre Mogador. In a different way, she creates "Les Nanas dans l'Rétro", a vocal trio of old French songs updated to date. Noémie François is also dedicated to composition, notably the project "Noey's pocket show". Since 2006, she joins Mike Poiré as a singer to perform in duet on various occasions in and around Luxembourg.

About
Passionate about music, Mike Poiré mixes swing and bossanova with smooth melodic pop and ballroom classics into his very own style. In that vein, Mike will as often cover a swinging jazz standard as a modern pop song and his original interpretations deftly move from earnest ballads to easy listening music and songs of melancholic nostalgia.

Born in November 1978 in Ettelbruck (Luxembourg) and having played accordion, organ and drums since age seven, Mike later developed an avid interest in arranger keyboards and synthesizer workstations and lives his passion for these high-tech instruments until now.

Having been on stage with his father since 1990 and playing strictly standard ballroom dancing music in the style of Bert Kaempfert, Paul Kuhn, Max Greger, Hugo Strasser and James Last, French "Musette" and Argentine Tango on the accordion, popular folk music, but also the songs of his pop & rock idols Billy Joel and Elton John, Mike got more and more inspired by the Great American Songbook, the repertoire of such music icons as Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Ella Fitzgerald and the fabulous John Pizzarelli who actually brought him to real swing music and bossanova. Logically, he also started to sing these standards just as a crooner does.

Mike spent most of his formative years studying law and politics in Nancy (France) from 1999 to 2006 where he discovered a wide range of psychedelic alternative music. In that time, he also attended his first big live acts from artists like Francis Cabrel, Diana Krall, Stacey Kent, Pink Martini, Axelle Red, Laurent Voulzy, Madeleine Peyroux, Pascal Obispo, Norah Jones, Georges Moustaki, Katie Melua, Marc Lavoine, Sonny Rollins, Bugge Wesseltoft, Lisa Ekdahl, Sting and much more who inspired him deeply in the way of making music. His latest influences include Jamie Cullum, Jeremy Davenport, Till Brönner, Kurt Elling, Melody Gardot, Kevin Mahogany, Nils Landgren, ...

Nowadays, Mike continues to explore his passion while insisting on high quality in every detail: the repertoire, the arrangements, the sound, the instruments, the microphones, the lights and even the cables. He can be booked as a solo musician or in duet with Noémie François for various occasions and festivities in and around Luxembourg with one goal: pursuing the "finest music entertainment" credo. Style is coming back in style.
